Contingency Traffic Arrangement - High Wind and Typhoon (A) & (B)
 
To facilitate the holding of HK Marathon 2012 on 5-2-2012(Sunday), from about 23:45 hrs on 4-2-2012 to about 14:15 hrs on the following day, all our buses towards Tsing Yi, Tsuen Wan, Kwai Fong, Airport and Central Ferry Pier will make a U-Turn at Ma Wan Road Exit (Kowloon Bound) to Lantau Link Toll Plaza and divert via the lower deck of Lantau Link to urban area. Bus departures will be delayed.

The bus service of our R.S. route NR338 will be revised effective from the first departure on 5 February 2012(Sunday) as follows:

1. Routeing towards Central Ferry Pier 2: upon arriving at Ma Wan Road, divert via the lower deck of Lantau Link, North West Tsing Yi Interchange, Tsing Yi North Coastal Road, Tsing Tsuen Road, Tsuen Wan Road, Kwai Chung Road, Lai Chi Kok Road, West Kowloon Corridor, Gascoigne Road flyover, Chatham Road South, Hong Chong Road, Cross Harbour Tunnel, Gloucester Road, Harcourt Road and Connaught Road Central before resuming its original routeing.
2. Routeing towards Ma Wan: remain unchanged.
3. Bus Stop Arrangement

Due to the closure of the eastbound carriageway of Man Kwong Street outside Central Ferry Pier at 04:30 hrs on the same day, the bus stop of the captioned R.S. route outside Central Ferry Pier No.2 will be temporarily suspended. Passengers for the departure at 04:30, 05:30 and 06:30 hrs from Central Ferry Pier 2 to Ma Wan are advised to use the bus stop outside the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce Building on Connaught Road Central for boarding and alighting. Bus departures may be delayed.

For passengersˇ¦safety and cope with the operations at Pick Up Area of Terminal 2, our bus driver will not display ˇ§Park Islandˇ¨ sign at the waiting hall of Terminal 2 effective from the first departure of bus route NR334 on 20 September 2010 (Monday). Passengers are advised to queue up at our bus stop stand located outside bay no.22 prior to the scheduled departure time.

Due to the recent foggy weather in Hong Kong recently, vessels will be operated at a safe speed when visibility is less than one nautical mile. Hence, the journey time will be longer than usual and schedule will be delayed. For details, please refer to the latest notices posted in piers.

According to the requirements of "Speed Restriction Exemption Permit" issued by the Marine Department of Hong Kong, such exemption permits would become invalid when visibility is less than one nautical mile. For passengers' safety, vessels will be operated at a safe speed when visibility is low. Hence, the journey time will be longer than usual and schedule will be delayed.
